The entrance assessment
The entrance assessment covers the content of three secondary-school subjects.
Preparation. The Faculty organises preparatory classes, and the book of tests in biology, psychology and sociology is available in the Faculty library.
Programmes at bachelor level
All three accredited study programmes are taught at bachelor level.

Special Education (Defectology)
Five modules covering a wide range of impairments and disorders. Professional practice is compulsory; there is no final thesis.

Contemporary theory with intensive practical teaching in clinical and educational institutions.

Early intervention, education and rehabilitation of children and adults with intellectual disability and developmental disorders.

How the four years unfold
Each year carries 60 ECTS, moving from the foundations of the profession towards independent practical work.

First year
60 ECTS
General and theoretical-methodological courses: foundations of the profession, medical, psychological-pedagogical and sociological disciplines.

Second year
60 ECTS
Scientific and professional courses and the first electives, with practicals in small groups.
3
Third year
60 ECTS
Applied professional courses by field of work, and electives from several elective blocks.
4
Fourth year
60 ECTS
Professional courses and compulsory practice in the teaching bases, supervised by leading practitioners.
